Looking for
New Horizons Fellowship?
You've found it at United Church!
United Church is the outcome of two churches realizing that they were better together.
New Horizons Fellowship was planted on March 7, 1993 in the hotel ballroom of what was then the Ramada Inn in Apex. After a year, the church moved to Apex High School then ultimately purchased a shopping center in 1999 and renovated the anchor store location for its use.
Bridgepointe Church began meeting on September 12, 2012 at Rock N Roll High School in Apex . Over the course of the next several years, Bridgepointe met in Apex Middle School and then in Middle Creek High School.
Following God’s vision and direction, each church served Apex, Wake County and surrounding communities faithfully and with tremendous impact.
In 2020, in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, New Horizons Fellowship and Bridgepointe Church decided to collaborate to provide weekly in-person and online worship experiences from New Horizons Fellowship’s shopping center location at 820 East Williams Street in Apex.
Since that original collaboration, two churches that have always been more focused on showing the love of Jesus in action and not just telling about it have discovered a shared vision and a common purpose.
On September 12, 2021, United Church began its UNITED history ready to make a difference!
